We are looking for a Commercial Lawyer with 3 - 5 years of experience in the same or similar role. This is a permanent full-time role with an attractive salary of $75,000 - $105,000 per annum dependent on experience. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Taking a commercial approach and taking ownership of the firm’s growth and success
- Negotiate and draft legal documents
- Addressing legal problems
- Research and provide advice on legal issues
- Engaging with clients and counterparties
The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:
- Have a current law degree and admitted to practice in an Australian jurisdiction
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a post-admission commercial lawyer position with a passion to build a legal career in a dynamic environment
- Self-driven with the capacity to work autonomously
- Desire to work with startups and innovative businesses
- Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks
- A technically capable lawyer with proficient drafting skills
- Proficient interpersonal skills and a desire to deal directly with clients
